Cookie Policy
Last updated: 21 June 2026. This Cookie Policy is provided for transparency. Please read it in full; it explains the cookies and similar technologies we use and how you can control them.
This policy is published by PatchPilot Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number available on request ahead of launch), trading as “SwiftScore” (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our registered office is at available on request ahead of launch. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference available on request ahead of launch. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time, such as keeping you logged in or recording the choices you have made. We also use similar technologies, such as localStorage and pixels, which work in a comparable way; in this policy we refer to all of these as “cookies”.
Cookies set by us are called “first-party” cookies. Cookies set by another organisation whose service we use on our pages (for example an advertising network) are called “third-party” cookies. Cookies can also be “session” cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or “persistent” cookies, which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
2. The categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the site to work and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as logging in, confirming your age or recording your cookie choice. The site cannot function properly without them, so they do not require your consent. They include our login/session cookie, the age-confirmation cookie and the cookie that records your consent choice.
Analytics cookies (if enabled)
Where enabled, these cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — for example which pages are most popular — so we can improve it. The information they collect is aggregated. We only set analytics cookies after you have given consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time (see section 5). If analytics is not currently active on your visit, no analytics cookies are set.
Advertising cookies
We display third-party advertising through Google AdSense. Advertising cookies are used to show ads, to limit how often you see a particular ad and to measure the effectiveness of advertising. These cookies are only loaded after you have given consent through our cookie banner. If you do not consent, the advertising scripts are not loaded and these cookies are not set. Advertising cookies are set by Google and other third parties, and their use is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.
3. The main cookies we use
The table below lists the principal cookies you may encounter on SwiftScore. Exact names and durations set by third parties such as Google may change; the list is provided as a representative guide.
| Cookie | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
session |
Strictly necessary | Keeps you securely signed in to your account and maintains your session as you move between pages. | Session / until logout (typically up to 30 days) |
age_ok |
Strictly necessary | Records that you have confirmed you are 18 or over, so we do not show you the age gate on every visit. | Persistent (up to 1 year) |
consent |
Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie consent choice so we know whether we may load analytics and advertising cookies. | Persistent (up to 1 year) |
_ga, _ga_* |
Analytics (if enabled) | Set by Google Analytics to distinguish users and sessions and to measure how the site is used. Only set after consent. | Persistent (up to 2 years) |
__gads, __gpi, IDE, id |
Advertising | Set by Google AdSense / Google’s advertising services to serve and measure ads and limit ad repetition. Only set after consent. | Persistent (typically up to 13 months / 2 years) |
4. Payments and third parties
When you buy a Premium subscription or credits, card payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe / Stripe, Inc.). Stripe may set its own cookies, including cookies used for fraud prevention, when you interact with its checkout. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by us. If you click an affiliate link to a licensed betting operator, that operator may set its own cookies once you leave our site; those cookies are outside our control and are governed by that operator’s policies.
5. How consent works on our site
When you first visit, we show a cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the site cannot work without them. Analytics and advertising scripts are not loaded until you accept through the banner. Your choice is stored in the consent cookie so that we do not ask again on every page.
You can change your mind at any time. To withdraw consent, delete the consent cookie (and any analytics or advertising cookies) through your browser settings as described below; the banner will then appear again on your next visit so you can make a fresh choice. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.
6. How to manage or disable cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you see what cookies are stored, delete them individually or all at once, and block cookies from some or all sites. You can usually find these controls in your browser’s settings or preferences menu. Please note that strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function, so blocking them may stop you logging in or using parts of the site.

To opt out of personalised advertising from Google specifically, you can visit Google’s Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. You can also learn more about advertising cookies and opt out of many third-party advertising cookies at youronlinechoices.com.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add new features or use new providers. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Where required, we will ask for your consent again. Please check this page periodically to stay informed.
